Advocating Excellence: The Dearborn Area Board of REALTORS®

The Dearborn Area Board of REALTORS® is dedicated to fostering a cohesive community of real estate professionals committed to supporting, educating, and advocating for its members.

Our mission encompasses inspiring leadership, elevating professionalism, and upholding the highest standards of integrity through the enforcement of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics.

We strive to highlight the expertise and indispensability of REALTORS® in every real estate transaction while championing the cause of home-ownership and safeguarding the interests of property owners.

The Dearborn Area Board of REALTORS® Association Objectives

Objective 1

To expand the educational opportunities for the REALTOR® members, affiliates and members of the public by providing advanced designation courses, seminars and informational workshops.

Objective 2

To provide our REALTOR® members with meetings that address issues facing their businesses, to increase broker programs to determine needs, thereby fostering solutions.

Objective 3

To improve communications between our members by expanding all possible communication lines (website, newsletter, e-commerce), and appointing liaisons for each office.

Objective 4

To maintain high stands of conduct as expressed in the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS® by developing a curriculum addressing information needed for new agents.

Objective 5

To employ a combination of committees to appeal to a broader range of members organized to enhance program development and participation of the members of the association.

Objective 6

Create programs to educate the public about the importance of using a REALTOR®, accurate property information, real estate investment value, and promoting property ownership interests.

Objective 7

Enhance members' utilization of cutting-edge technological tools and provide comprehensive education on emerging technologies relevant to their businesses.

Objective 8

Develop and implement educational programs aimed at informing REALTOR® members of contributing to REALTORS® Political Action Committee and effectively utilizing RPAC funds.

DABOR Office Renovations

Temporarily Offsite

 Beginning January 21, 2025, the membership office at 2350 Monroe St. will undergo a major interior renovation, including technology upgrades, training classrooms, the conference room, and staff work areas. As a result, these spaces will be unavailable for use.
 
Additionally, SentriLock distribution, in-store purchases, and in-person dues payments will be temporarily paused for approximately 45 to 60 days.
 
During this period, our team will be working offsite while maintaining normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. We look forward to sharing updates on our progress and unveiling a newly renovated, welcoming, and multi-purpose space for our members.
