Membership and Marketing Manager
Full Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Membership and Marketing Manager to join our team at the Dearborn Area Board of Realtors. This is a pivotal role designed to enhance communication with our Realtor members, manage marketing efforts, maintain the board’s website, and support the day-to-day operations of the board office. Key Responsibilities:
Member Communication & Relationship Building
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Realtor members and Affiliates regarding upcoming events, sponsorship opportunities, and member benefits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Realtor members and Affiliates to foster engagement and participation.
- Proactively communicate benefits such as health insurance, continuing education, and committee involvement to members.
Marketing & Event Promotion
- Manage the board’s social media platforms, creating and scheduling engaging content to promote events, classes, and initiatives.
- Prospect for new members and affiliates by identifying opportunities, reaching out to potential members, and promoting the value of board membership.
- Design and distribute email campaigns, flyers, and other marketing materials to ensure member awareness and participation.
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing efforts to refine strategies for maximum impact.
Website Management
- Regularly update the board’s website with current information, including events, member resources, and board initiatives.
- Ensure the website remains user-friendly, accurate, and aligned with the organization’s goals. • Coordinate with external vendors or IT support as needed to address website-related issues. Administrative Support
- Coordinate and schedule committee meetings in collaboration with chairpersons, ensuring timely communication and logistics.
- Support the Association Executive in preparing materials for board meetings and take accurate meeting minutes.
- Act as a backup for the Association Executive and Administrative Assistant during their absence.
Event Coordination
- Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of board events, including securing sponsorships and managing on-site logistics.
- Ensure all marketing materials and event details are prepared in advance and communicated effectively to members.
Other Duties
- Handle other administrative and operational tasks as needed to support the smooth functioning of the office.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, basic graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite), and website content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Previous experience in marketing, website management, communications, or office administration preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a small team and interact professionally with members and sponsors.
- Familiarity with the real estate industry or association management is a plus.
Salary:
This is an entry-level to mid-level position, with compensation starting at $45,000, based on experience.
