Marketing & Communications Internship
Full Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated student to join our Membership and Marketing team at the Dearborn Area Board of Realtors. This paid internship is designed to provide training on communication with our REALTOR® members and affiliate members who own local businesses related to the real estate industry and support the day-to-day operations of the board office. If you have a passion for relationship building, learning digital marketing, and administrative excellence, we encourage you to apply.
Duration of Internship:
Beginning in summer 2025 for 15 Weeks.
Requirements:
Ability to Commute with reliable transportation withing the Metro Detroit Area.
Work location: Primarily in-person at association office 2350 Monroe St Dearborn, MI 48124 and onsite at local events and trainings.
An interest in marketing and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Member Communication & Relationship Building
Marketing & Event Promotion
Assist with the board’s social media platforms to promote educational events, classes, and networking initiatives ensuring timely communication with REALTOR® members and affiliate members.
Podcast Production
Assist with the pre-production operations of filming and recording and post-production operational tasks of editing episodes as needed to support the smooth functioning of the board’s podcast.
Preferred Qualifications:
An eagerness and willingness to learn social media platforms, digital marketing tools, CRM management, art direction, videography, audio and visual editing, and motion graphic design software (utilizing Adobe Creative Suite and other technology equipment).
Ability to work collaboratively with other interns, board leadership, and management staff.
Schedule:
40 hours per week
Monday-Friday
15 weeks
Pay:
$15/hour
